Get into the Halloween spirit with these rich, fudgy brownies topped with a spooky spiderweb design! Perfect for trick-or-treat parties, movie nights, or school events, these brownies are a crowd-pleaser that’s both delicious and festive. Whether you’re hosting a gathering or just enjoying the season, these brownies will add a touch of fun to your table.
Ingredients:
• 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, melted
• 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
• 1 cup (180g) brown sugar
• 4 large eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup (60g) cocoa powder
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 cup (175g) chocolate chips
For the Spiderweb Topping:
• 1/2 cup white chocolate, melted
• 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Set your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Make the Brownie Batter:
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one by one, beating well after each. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Mix Dry Ingredients:
Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt together. Slowly fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Add the chocolate chips for an extra burst of chocolatey goodness!
Bake the Brownies:
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let the brownies cool completely.
Create the Spiderweb Design:
Melt the white chocolate and mix with the heavy cream to form a smooth glaze. Pour the glaze into a piping bag (or a ziplock bag with the tip snipped off).
Decorate:
Drizzle the white chocolate glaze in spirals over the cooled brownies. Use a toothpick to gently drag lines from the center to the edges, creating a spiderweb pattern.
Serve & Scare:
Cut the brownies into squares and watch them disappear! These brownies are perfect for adding a spooky (but tasty) touch to any Halloween celebration.
Boo! Surprise your guests with these frightfully good brownies—because Halloween treats should be as fun as they are delicious!
